Hakikat Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Membentuk Karakter Remaja Masa Kini

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the important role of civic education (PKN) in today's youth design, based on the values of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. This study uses a literature research approach, namely a qualitative method with analysis of literature and related scientific sources. The results of the study indicate that citizenship not only conveys an understanding of the rights and duties of citizens, but also shapes the character of young people through values such as religion, tolerance, responsibility, discipline, and love. In today's digital and globalization period, civic skills are becoming increasingly important, ensuring that young people are not in misleading information. Therefore, PKN plays a strategic role in building the intellectual, integrity, and life of the nation and nation of young people.
